The Professional Development Program (PDP) is a 52
hour course designed to provide health care professionals
a unique learning experience in geriatrics and gerontology.
The course is taught using an interdisciplinary model
that includes: didactics, intensives, clinical observational
sites, case studies, and an Enrichment Series. Graduates
of the PDP receive CEU's and become WAGECC Fellows.
Fellows may pursue further training by participating
in the 26 hour Fellows Education Continuum (FEC).
WAGECC also sponsors an Annual
Best Practices Forum and co-sponsors several seminars
each year in partnership with area institutions.
